We want you to find that the Sunnyside church of Christ is neither Catholic, Protestant, or denominational. The Lord’s church in the first century was obviously none of these. We claim that we follow His Word alone.
(Admitting not all “churches of Christ” can honestly make this claim) and in every way seek to be simply New Testament Christians, we hope to be the same church as it was in the first century.
Being of the same head, doctrine and practice results in being the same body the Lord purchased or built and therefore predates both Catholicism and all Protestant denominations (Acts 20:28 [show] Pay careful attention to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
